John Breach – Sustainable Business Consultant

John has long-standing experience in the use of the full range of Microsoft Office (MSO) applications and has written many VBA programs to automate these processes. He became interested in Green ICT in early 2011 while setting up his own consultancy, BST Environmental, and working with Global Action Plan, helping communities and SMEs reduce their carbon footprint and associated costs. He is interested in the ways in which the Google suite of applications (Google Apps), can compliment or replace MSO and can help organisations work more effectively and with reduced environmental impact. He has successfully implemented Google Apps in the running of his own business. He is also exploring similar concepts within community groups and the potential of Green ICT to increase inclusion and community level engagement, with consequent social and environmental benefits.
